Most fractional lasers cannot be performed without anesthesia, but the Affirm laser uses a special cooling system and a laser irradiation mechanism that minimizes pain and eliminates the need for anesthesia. For those who want less pain or are concerned about the pain, anesthesia can be applied to alleviate a great deal of the pain. You can put on makeup immediately after irradiation and go home.<br \/>There may be some redness and burning for about two days, but most patients will be able to wear makeup to work even if some redness remains on the following day.<br \/>Also, the redness will completely subside with time, and the risk of pigmentation is very small, so you can rest assured.
