outside the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first place, infertility treatment involves testing and, once the cause has been identified, treating the disease that is causing the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is followed by &#8216;artificial insemination&#8217;, &#8216;in vitro fertilisation&#8217;, &#8216;intracytoplasmic fertilisation&#8217; and &#8216;treatment for I have to go through IVF more than once?&#8217; Many people wonder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at how the IVF schedule works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As it turns out, it takes about one to two months from the time you decide to do IVF to the time you become pregnant. However, the period may be extended further if the first egg retrieval and embryo transfer fails to result in pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The six basic steps are as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stimulate ovulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oocyte collection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In vitro fertilization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultivate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Embryo transfer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pregnancy test<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c2-1\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1Stimulate_ovulation\"><\/span>1.Stimulate ovulation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the third to tenth day of menstruation, medication is used to stimulate ovulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovulation induction methods include &#8216;complete natural ovulation cycle&#8217;, &#8216;low stimulation&#8217;, &#8216;medium stimulation&#8217; and &#8216;high stimulation&#8217;, and it is believed that ovulation induction drugs are used according to the examination of each individual&#8217;s ovaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c2-2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2Oocyte_collection\"><\/span>2.Oocyte collection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The oocytes are collected around the 11th to 14th day of menstruation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under ultrasound guidance, a special needle called an oocyte collection needle is inserted into the vagina and punctures the ovary to collect the oocytes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In many cases, depending on the thickness of the oocyte collection needle, this may cause pain. Anaesthesia can be used to reduce the pain caused by the needle puncture, so those who are sensitive to pain should consult their doctor beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the oocyte retrieval, the partner will collect the semen in a separate room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c2-3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3In_vitro_fertilization\"><\/span>3.In vitro fertilization<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four fertilisation methods: &#8216;Conventional IVF&#8217;, &#8216;Rescue ICSI&#8217;, &#8216;ICSI&#8217; and &#8216;Split ICSI&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each has its own advantages and disadvantages and costs differ, but usually the &#8216;Conventional IVF&#8217; method is used for natural fertilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fertilised egg then undergoes cell division and becomes an &#8216;embryo&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The embryo grows through further cell division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c2-4\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4Cultivate\"><\/span>4.Cultivate<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After IVF, the embryos are cultured in an incubator for 2-6 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a diagnosis of the type of ovarian stimulation method, hormone levels and endometrial thickness, embryo transfer takes place in the cycle in which the oocytes were collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c2-5\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5Embryo_transfer\"><\/span>5.Embryo transfer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The embryo is transferred into the uterus by advancing an embryo transfer catheter into the uterine cavity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embryo transfer may use fresh embryos (split-stage embryos or blastocysts) from the cycle in which the eggs were collected, or embryos that have been frozen and thawed (split-stage embryos or blastocysts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embryo transfer leads to pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c2-6\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6Pregnancy_test\"><\/span>6.Pregnancy test<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven to ten days after the embryo transfer, the pregnancy is finally determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A blood sample is taken to measure the hCG hormone, which increases with pregnancy, to confirm that the woman is pregnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n    <a href=\"\/nipt\/causes-of-infertility\/\" class=\"blog-card\">\n      <div class=\"blog-card-content\">\n          <div class=\"blog-card-title\">\u4e0d\u598a\u306e\u539f\u56e0\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u9a5a\u304f\u3079\u304d\u4e8b\u5b9f\u3001\u89e3\u6c7a\u7b56\u3092\u5fb9\u5e95\u89e3\u8aac\u3010\u533b\u5e2b\u76e3\u4fee\u3011 <\/div>\n          <div class=\"blog-card-excerpt\">\u3082\u3057\u304b\u3057\u305f\u3089\u81ea\u5206\u306f\u4e0d\u598a\u304b\u3082\u2026\u2026\u3068\u60a9\u3080\u4eba\u3082\u591a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u304b\uff1f\u4e0d\u598a\u306b\u306a\u308b\u539f\u56e0\u306f\u591a\u304f\u3042\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3001\u4e0d\u598a\u304b\u3082\u3057\u308c\u306a\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3063\u305f\u3089\u75c5\u9662\u3092\u53d7\u8a3a\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068...<\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/a>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_the_success_rate_of_IVF_pregnancy\"><\/span>What is the success rate of IVF pregnancy?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What is of concern at this point is the IVF pregnancy success rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking at the 2018 Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology announcement by age, the production rate (birth rate) per embryo transfer is 34% at age 30, 30% at age 35, 17% at age 40 and 2.8% at age 45, showing that as age advances, the production rate decreases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is said to be because the number of eggs decreases with increasing age and the quality of the eggs declines, causing chromosomal abnormalities in the baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These factors halve the pregnancy success rate with IVF when comparing women in their early 30s with those in their late 30s and 40s.
