The colour often changes from translucent to milky white or light brown. In clinical studies, implantation bleeding is one sign that implantation is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The endometrium can be damaged when the fertilised egg burrows into the endometrium. This is why a small amount of bleeding may only be seen for a short period of time, around one or two days before or after implantation.
