Causes of the disease<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>15q25.2 Deletion (Proximal) Syndrome is caused by the deletion of a specific gene on the long arm of chromosome 15 (q25.2 region). This deletion can affect development, neurological function, and physical growth and can result in a variety of symptoms. This deletion often occurs as a new mutation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Symptoms\"><\/span>2. Symptoms<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Developmental delays<\/strong>&nbsp;: Delays in the development of language and motor skills are common.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intellectual disability<\/strong>&nbsp;: There may be mild to moderate intellectual disability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Behavioral problems<\/strong>&nbsp;: Attention deficit and hyperactivity, and in some cases, autism spectrum disorder, may be present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Physical characteristics<\/strong>&nbsp;: Some patients may have distinctive facial and physical features.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Epilepsy<\/strong>&nbsp;: Epileptic seizures may occur and require appropriate management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Treatment\"><\/span>3.
