Causes of the disease<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>11q23 deletion syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by the deletion of the long arm of chromosome 11 (q23 region). This deletion affects genes involved in nervous system and physical development, and can result in a variety of symptoms. It usually occurs as a new mutation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Symptoms\"><\/span>2.
