Actually, I have a spot that bothers me … a small raised spot on top of my ear (photo: left). It’s covered by my hair so I thought I could just leave it alone, but it bothers me when I tie my hair up. But it’s inside my hair… I asked the doctor, not expecting any help. He said it can be removed with a ” carbon dioxide laser “ ! So I immediately asked for the treatment ♪
My spots are quite dark so I was a bit scared, but I thought it was just one. I went ahead and did it without anesthesia. First, they shaved the hair around it and cooled it down thoroughly with ice packs. When the sensation started to dull, the doctor applied the laser at the right time . Perhaps it’s because Dr. Hiroko is a female doctor, but her careful and detailed work makes this a popular treatment at our clinic♪ We have quite a lot of repeat customers♡
My impression of the treatment is… surprisingly, it’s not painful! There is a buzzing sound and a slightly burning smell, but I hardly felt any pain (it seems to hurt a little in areas with thin skin such as the eyelids). The treatment took about 10 minutes and was over in a flash ♪ Tape will be applied immediately after the treatment (photo: center). The skin-colored tape will make the scar less noticeable. The medicine will be soaked into the tape. Do not remove the tape for 2 weeks. If the tape is still on after 2 weeks, please leave it on until it falls off naturally ♪ If it falls off during the treatment, we will give you spare tape and medicine so please use those.
Well, after about 5 months of waiting (photo on the right) , the brown bumps temporarily turned black due to the laser , but now the hair I shaved has grown back and the spots have turned a light brown! I can’t do anything because I have hair, but if it was on my cheeks, I think I could hide it with concealer. It’s that light. It’s been 5 months, so don’t panic and just wait (^o^)丿
