Is the Hiro Clinic’s inspection accuracy low?

The above criticisms are sometimes received. On the contrary, some websites even write maliciously about it. So I would like to try to refute them here.

How many types of seek sensors do you think were originally used in Japan?

The answer is four types.

Types Domestic inspection
Veriseq V2 system Tokyo Sanitary Laboratory, Hiraishi Clinic, Japan Genetic Medicine Co.
MassARRAY QGE + Sequenom GeneTech Ltd.
(Most certified facilities are served here)
PerkinElmer Riz Medical(Kansai)
Medicover method (Cyprus) Tokyo Sanitary Laboratory

The Hiraishi Clinic uses the same DNA Advanced Medicine Ltd, so its accuracy is no different from that of the Tokyo Health Laboratory. Japan Gene Medicine Co. is a NIPT-accredited laboratory. It has Sanno Hospital and International University of Health and Welfare as clients. Recently, GeneTech has also started using the Veriseq V2 system. The system is stable with rapid results.

Hiro Clinic is Tokyo Sanitary Inspection Laboratory, so it uses the same products as above. So there should be no difference in accuracy. The protocol is completely set, so mistakes cannot occur.

It should be noted that Tokyo Hygienic Laboratory is able to test for this method in Japan due to the technology transfer of the Medicover method; it has an exclusive contract with Medicover, which makes Tokyo Hygienic Laboratory the only choice for the Medicover method. The beauty of this method is that it can recognise the type of foetus, so it can be used for vanishing twins and surrogate mothers. It is also the only method in Japan that can detect four types of microdeletion syndromes. It is possible to undergo testing using both methods, in which case you will receive test results from the different methods and can compare many items. Incidentally, the Minerva Clinic subcontracts out to Medicover.

So it is the company’s opinion that there cannot be a falsified notion that the Hiro Clinic is particularly inaccurate.

To put it bluntly, we have already carried out more than 40,000 tests within our own group. This data is raw data, and we believe we can use it to help you choose the best tests.

In addition, Hiro Clinic is the only clinic that links the NIPT test data with the amniotic fluid test data and produces a positive score that detects the degree of positivity. Even though the machines are the same, we are proud of the analysis methods we use.

Thank you for your understanding.
