No Difference in Testing Accuracy
There is no difference in testing accuracy between certified and non-certified facilities. Some patients worry that accuracy may be lower at a non-certified facility, but there is no need for concern.
Most certified facilities in Japan use Illumina’s VeriSeq NIPT Solution V2. Hiro Clinic was the first in Japan to introduce this same system and performs testing to the same standard.
About the Testing Institution: Tokyo Health Inspection Center
NIPT testing at Okayama Station Clinic is carried out in partnership with a domestic testing institution. The testing itself is handled by the Tokyo Health Inspection Center.
