N-Guard has a range of plans that focus on the most frequent diseases.
Coverage is the probability of a positive test result if the test is performed at a HIRO clinic.
A coverage rate of 30% means that out of 100 people positive cases, only 30 people will be reported as positive. In this case, 70 people will be reported as negative. Incidentally, when testing only for chromosome 21 trisomy, chromosome 18 trisomy and chromosome 13 trisomy, which are tested in certified centres, only 45% of people will be reported as positive (45% coverage) and 55% of people will be missed positive.
