Snowfall and accumulation are quite rare around Ikebukuro in winter.
That said, on days with snow or sharp morning/evening cold, road surfaces in shaded areas can freeze and become slippery.

Yes — you can reach us in about a 1-minute walk from Exit C2 of Ikebukuro Station.
Ikebukuro Station’s various lines are connected by underground passages, and using Exit C2 lets you reach us almost entirely underground with barely any time above ground.
You can visit comfortably without stepping outside, even on rainy days, snowy days, or hot summer days.

The building housing our clinic has an elevator, so you can enter the clinic itself safely with a wheelchair or stroller.
However, some routes through the underground passage from the station to the building include a set of stairs.
Checking in advance for an entrance with an elevator or a ramp route will make your visit smoother.

There’s no major landmark nearby, but “Ikebukuro Station Exit C2” is the best point of reference.
Once you come up from Exit C2, the building housing our clinic is close by, with our sign displayed near the top of the building.

We’re sorry, but we don’t have a dedicated free affiliated parking lot.
If you’re driving, please use one of the paid coin-operated parking lots near Ikebukuro Station.
Parking can get busy at certain times of day, so we recommend allowing extra time.

Yes, plenty of options. Around Ikebukuro Station you’ll find the “Sunshine City” shopping complex, plus “Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store,” “Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro,” and “Lumine Ikebukuro” directly connected to or near the station, along with many restaurants and cafes.
The test itself is quick, so please feel free to enjoy the area afterward at your own pace.

The route via Exit C2 or Exit C3 of Ikebukuro Station is the most convenient way to reach us.
Choosing the underground passage and elevator route lets you minimize stair climbing.
Some routes do include a few stairs, so if morning sickness is difficult, please don’t push yourself — check in advance for an entrance with an elevator and come at whatever pace feels comfortable.

Our clinic is open 9:00-13:00 and 14:30-18:00, Monday through Saturday, so you can book an appointment that fits your schedule even if weekdays are busy with work.
(Closed Sundays and public holidays. We may also close temporarily on occasion, so please check the online booking screen.)

To keep waiting times to a minimum for our patients, we operate on a fully reservation-based system. Same-day visits may be possible if a slot is available, but depending on how full the schedule is, your wait could be considerably longer.
To reduce the burden on you, we recommend booking in advance through our online reservation system whenever possible.

Yes. Our clinic is directly connected to JR Yamanote Line Ikebukuro Station, so you can reach us without transferring from Shinjuku or Shibuya.
It’s also a convenient location for those living along the Seibu Ikebukuro Line or Tobu Tojo Line. If you’re driving, it’s about 1 hour from the Tokorozawa area via the Kan-etsu Expressway, or about 1 hour from the Kawagoe area via the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway.
For first-time visitors, we recommend the route via Exit C2 or Exit C3 of Ikebukuro Station.

NIPT is a non-diagnostic screening test, so a positive result is confirmed through a definitive test such as amniocentesis.
At Hiro Clinic, we offer a support plan that subsidizes up to 300,000 yen toward amniocentesis costs if your result is positive, and you can also consult a doctor directly through genetic counseling (4,400 yen / 20 minutes).

Plans focused on the 3 core conditions (trisomy 21, 18, and 13) start in the 60,000-yen range. Full-coverage plans that test all chromosomes and microdeletion/duplication syndromes are also available depending on your budget.
If your result is positive, our “Amniocentesis Support” plan subsidizes up to 300,000 yen toward amniocentesis costs.

Ikebukuro Ekimae Clinic is a non-certified facility.
However, the “Tokyo Health Inspection Center,” which performs the testing, is a testing institution that was certified as an NIPT-certified facility from 2022 to 2024. There is no difference in test accuracy compared with certified facilities.
Being able to test without age restrictions or a referral letter, and covering a wide range of items including fetal sex and microdeletions, are key features of non-certified facilities like ours.
